THE WAY
The Moon, ready to return,
Holds back, so the Sun,
Hot and furious
May reach her climax
Then slowly takes over
Sweet and gentle
to cover earth’s naked
body with her light
And so it is,
burnt onto human DNA,
is the Sun’s fierce desire
to return to empty
