John Paul Cusack (born June 28, 1966) is an American actor, producer and screenwriter.
He starred in one of his early film roles, including Better Off Dead (1985) and Say Anything… (1989). Cusack was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for High Fidelity (2000). He also starred in other films, including Grosse Pointe Blank(1997), Being John Malkovich (1999), 1408 (2007), 2012 (2009), Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) and The Raven (2012).
